Coco & James

Coco + James // Teaser from Americana Cinema on Vimeo.

I absolutely love Coco Rocha, period. With Camilla's wedding in about a week, I was so inspired by Coco's trailer of her wedding with James. It is probably one of the most beautiful and most touching weddings I have ever seen (by watching her 18 minute documentary on her wedding). It is a must see. click here for full video

These girls are some of my favorite models, but of course Coco is one of my all time favorites! It's great to see Alessandra work without her VS wings. I'm beginning to see Dree everywhere which is refreshing, she sort of has that girl next door quality. Ana Beatrice is just banging, enough said.

It is almost a week since I flew back to the states from Europe, I miss Europe, Paris especially so much! After living in the wonderful city for two months, it's incredible noticing difference between the American and French culture. Although I am an American, I have so much respect for the French who adore living life and loving one another. I feel like Americans are so bothered by their days they forget to enjoy the simple things in life, where in France, these things are celebrated everyday from breakfast to dinner time. Compared to American culture, French culture tend to:

1. enjoy a three course meal during dinner time 2. not smile unless they know each other 3. embrace each other in a more intense passionate way with deep kisses, caressing and hugs if they are intimately involved 4. dislike staring at the toilet thus they always close the bathroom door 5. eat smaller portions 6. eat everything with NO PRESERVATIVES 7. have smaller electric appliances forcing them to do more things such as laundry and cleaning the dishes by hand 8. read body language more easily 9. dislike putting your feet on any sort of furniture 10. have MORE patience than Americans.

Until next time, I will see you soon Paris. Thank you for all the great memories and experiences! It has truly changed my life. =)

Flicks I need to see

I still need to watch Inception and Salt, I don't know what it is, but I just don't understand why these films get released at a later date in Europe. Now that I'm back in the states, it's mandatory I get caught up with these films. I also can't wait to see these films:

Olivia Palermo for ASOS Magazine

as0 as3 as2 as1 as4 as5

If you watch MTV's The City, then you already know that Olivia Palermo is one eclectic dresser. I love how she mixes and matches and beats to her own drum when it comes to her outfits, and this shoot she did with ASOS magazine shows how well she can practically pull off anything. I love seeing what Scott Schuman captures her in during fashion week. I would LOVE/DIE in her closet.

Nice, France.

One of my all time favs, Interlaken, Switzerland

swiss1 swiss2 swiss3 swiss4 swiss5 swiss6 swis7 swiss7 swiss8 swiss9

I had the BEST time ever in Switzerland. It was probably one of my favorite places to travel when I was in Europe. I adore Paris, but being in a city for awhile calls for some outdoors time and Interlaken was just what the doctor ordered. The Swiss Alps were absolutely breathtaking and the air was so crisp is was like a drug, I needed more and more. Interlaken was probably one of the only places I actually felt safe and was able to let my guard down. It was so fun to get drunk and be with the six people I adore during the program. Canyoning was definitely an experience and I would love to do it again! It was such a rush and a reminder for me to live life more often in the present than the future. Ugh I miss it so much! =(

Greetings from Rome..

It's 1248am and I'm off to the airport at 330am for my 6am flight back to Paris and I cannot sleep. FML. On the flip side, I have had an amazing time here in Rome seeing the Vatican with it's Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Square, the forum with all it's gorgeous ruins, the fountain de Trevi, the Spanish steps, the coliseum and so much more! The food has been absolutely mind blowing, my favorite of course was the pizza and lasagna. MMMM. I will definitely miss the food here. Although Rome in general is dirty, a bit sketch and filled with unhelpful Italian people, I am happy to be back in Paris tomorrow for my last day in Europe!

These two months have been incredible from the people I've met, to the places I've traveled to the experiences I came upon. I not only learned about the French culture and language but I learned a lot about myself. I now come back to the states with a new perspective on life. I will be eternally grateful for my travels here and cannot wait to be back here for work or just to live. Who knows. :) Will post pictures of Switzerland, Nice, and Rome as soon as I get back to the states. I'm sure doing so will only make me miss Europe even more. Waahhhh. J'adore Europe!

Every Girls Dream, Chanel Haute Couture.

Being at the Chanel show was like being high, but better. Never in a million years would I have imagined myself at the Haute Couture show. Reading about talented editors such as Carine and Grace is amazing, but to see them in person, is even more amazing. To be surrounded by models I see on the covers of Vogue is just mine blowing. Everyone I met including my favorite bloggers Hanneli, Bryan Boy, and Tommy Ton were extremely nice and well spoken. Style was on point at the show, and I have never seen so many women wearing Chanel in one place than I did at the show, then again, that's a given. Words cannot express how I feel or felt at the time. Chanel. =)Big thanks to photographer Brian P. for sending me these wonderful pictures.
